For Xiaomi devices (HyperOS / MIUI)

Xiaomi kills Safe Lagoon in the background unless Autostart, No restrictions, and Recents lock are on.

Xiaomi / Redmi / Poco (HyperOS or MIUI) is the most common reason monitoring silently stops.

Apply all of these on the child's phone. Paths move slightly by HyperOS version; search Settings if a label differs.

  1. Settings → Apps → Permissions → Autostart → Safe Lagoon On.
  2. Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Safe Lagoon → Other permissions → allow all listed.
  3. Settings → Battery → Battery saver off (and Ultra battery saver off).
  4. Settings → Battery → App battery saver → Safe Lagoon → No restrictions.
  5. Recents (multitasking) → find Safe Lagoon → long-press or pull down → Lock so it is not swiped away.
  6. Security app → Settings → Cleaner → Remind to clean Off. Boost speed → Clear cache when locked → Never.
  7. If you see MIUI / HyperOS Pure mode or similar, turn it off for this app, then reboot, open Safe Lagoon, and confirm Finn is running.

Accessibility must stay On: Settings → Accessibility → Safe Lagoon.

If reporting still dies after a night, email support@safelagoon.com with a screenshot of the battery page for Safe Lagoon.
