Safe Lagoon automatically has safe web browsing with Chrome and Firefox browsers.
If you want safe search results on the Google app and Google home screen search toolbar on your child's Android or iOS device you will need to setup that protection with a few easy taps.
You can filter explicit search results on Google, like pornography, with the SafeSearch setting.
SafeSearch isn’t 100% accurate. But it can help you avoid explicit and inappropriate search results on your phone, tablet, or computer.
How SafeSearch works
When SafeSearch is on, it helps block explicit images, videos, and websites from Google Search results.
On an Android device:
- Open the Google App
- Tap Settings
- Tap Accounts & privacy
- To turn on SafeSearch, tap enable SafeSearch filter
On an iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Google app
- At the top left, tap your photo or Settings
- Tap Search Settings
- Find the "SafeSearch filters" section
- To turn on SafeSearch, tap Filter explicit results
- Tap Save
Web History shows you the website and web pages that were visited by your children, so you can make sure that they aren’t viewing anything that’s unsuitable. Search History tells you what terms your children are searching for in search engines like Google.
